And yet more studying, or perhaps just killing time in the library again. Boredom looms heavily. solitary situations here . . . perhaps the "losers lounge"? OK, I'm being cynical here. It looks like a nice
place to get away and not be bugged by anyone. It looks like a place where I used to hang out on campus! -Jim Dailey

this room looks is a fancy, luxurious spread of chandeliers, leather couches, and gold-framed huge photographs of dead white men on the walls. the students in the room look like college students because of their age and their clothes. They are reading the newspaper, resting, studying. -Sue Darboven

It looks very comforting and inviting and it just gives me pleasure to see the students there enjoying that environment, those surroundings. It seems very supportive. They are in a student lounge of some kind. It could be any time of day. It's probably a cold day outside and dark. -Kitty Robles

Civilian college students relax in the luxury of a classic wood-paneled, carpeted formal lounge area as if it were just like the home they came from - totally unaware of the money and effort it takes to build, heat, and maintain it. No conversation; no food or drink. Elegant environment but depressing mood.  Probably modern day, winter (attire, gray-whilte sky through windows). -Steven A. Bluhm
